Glyn Walters

Glyn Walters is Marlborough District Council’s communications manager. Last year Glyn moved from Auckland to sunny Marlborough, starting work there just two weeks before the Kaikoura earthquake struck.

Glyn has worked in diverse roles in Europe, the Pacific and New Zealand, and for Auckland Council for 12 years, including as its Public Information Manager.

He holds degrees in Political Science and Spanish. He’s an EMPA Fellow and member of the New Zealand EMPA Conference Committee.

In his spare time, he prunes roses and cycles between wineries.
