Anne Leadbeater
Anne is an independent consultant specialising in disaster recovery and community resilience.
She has 30 years’ experience working in the community sector and across all levels of government, and has supported communities recovering from drought, fire, flood, cyclone and earthquake in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and New Zealand.
Anne designs and delivers training for recovery practitioners and develops national policy, most recently co-authoring the Australian Disaster Recovery Framework for the
Commonwealth Government. Anne lives in Kinglake, Victoria and was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia for her work in the aftermath of the 2009 ‘Black Saturday’ bushfires.
