Karl Ferguson

Karl is an experienced executive director of communications and engagement, with over twenty years in senior communication roles in central government, local government, and NGOs.

He has been involved in many responses to emergencies and crises, including the Christchurch earthquakes, the Rena grounding, and more recently, the COVID-19 pandemic response. Karl served on the Board until 2024 and is currentlty the New Zealand conference committee Chair.
