Lucy Bell
Lucy is the Manager of Public Information at Emergency Management Victoria – a role she job shares with the wonderful Reegan Key.
She has over 15 years experience working across both the private and public sector, specialising in emergency management and has held roles at the Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner, the Surf Coast Shire, Melbourne Football Club, Major Projects Victoria, Emergency Management Victoria and the Department of Environment – working in the areas of communications, media, stakeholder management, issues management and strategic advisory.
Lucy is passionate about working collaboratively with others to deliver good outcomes for the community – evident through the many high profile emergencies and projects she has been involved in at a state, regional and incident level. Growing up in the small town of Yarram in Gippsland, she trusts that the locals know what to do and likes to keep things simple.
She is a highly respected emergency management operator who thrives under pressure and loves bringing people together to make things happen!
